for the following position:
Avionics Technician II:
Job description: This position is for a
highly motivated technician with extensive experience with panel and
remote mounted avionics systems.
The ideal technician will have a solid electronics
background with the ability to troubleshoot to the component level,
advanced soldering skills for the removal and replacement of
components (including surface mount), the ability to utilize a variety
of electronic testing equipment, and a full understanding of the rules
and regulations for Part 145 Repair Station operations.
Experience requirements: Completion of a formal
electronics training program, and a minimum of 5 years verifiable work
experience with an appropriately rated FAA approved repair station
holding a Radio Class I and II rating.
License requirements:
NCATT Certification and FCC General
Radiotelephone certification. FAA Repairman (radio) certificate, or the ability to
obtain the certificate upon employment.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
