Avionics Technician II

Blue Angel Aviation is looking for professionals who have the skills and desire to work above the industry standards. We currently have an opening for the following position:

Avionics Technician II: 

Job description: This position is for a highly motivated technician with extensive experience with panel and remote mounted avionics systems.

The ideal technician will have a solid electronics background with the ability to troubleshoot to the component level, advanced soldering skills for the removal and replacement of components (including surface mount), the ability to utilize a variety of electronic testing equipment, and a full understanding of the rules and regulations for Part 145 Repair Station operations. 

Experience requirements: Completion of a formal electronics training program, and a minimum of 5 years verifiable work experience with an appropriately rated FAA approved repair station holding a Radio Class I and II rating. 

License requirements: NCATT Certification and FCC General Radiotelephone certification. FAA Repairman (radio) certificate, or the ability to obtain the certificate upon employment.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
