Avionics Installation Technician II

Blue Angel Aviation is looking for professionals who have the skills and desire to work above the industry standards. We currently have an opening for the following position:

Avionics Installation Technician I: 

Job description: This position is for a highly motivated technician with basic aircraft system and electrical experience involving installation and troubleshooting of panel and remote mounted avionics systems. 

The ideal technician will have an electronics background, the ability to complete custom wiring harness fabrication, routing and securing harness's during the installation process, and to troubleshoot problems with the installation. In addition, the candidate will have the ability to utilize a variety of basic electronic testing equipment,  understanding of the rules and regulations for Part 145 Repair Station operations, installation practices and procedures of AC 43.13-1A, and 43.13-2A.

Experience requirements: Completion of a formal electronics/electrical  training program, and 3 years of verifiable work experience at a FAA approved Part 145 Repair Station.

License requirements: NCATT Certification, FCC General Radiotelephone,  FAA Repairman (radio) certificate, or the ability to obtain these certificates are a plus for the ideal candidate.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
